Minister of Music

Mary Jane Simpson began her ministry at East Clairemont in May of 2001. Born in Columbia, Kentucky, she has served in various ministry positions, including leading adult choirs for over 25 years. Mary Jane received a Bachelor of Science degree in music from Campbellsville Baptist College in Campbellsville, Kentucky as well as a Master of Religious Education degree from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary.

Mary Jane is married to Dwight Simpson, who serves as Director of Missions for the San Diego Southern Baptist Association. They have one son, Dwight David Simpson, and one daughter-in-law, Christine Janette Simpson.
